Taking part in Stride Outside

We're fundraising for better mental health

This September, the team at headspace Woolloongabba is taking part in Stride Outside, committing to spend 30 minutes outside every day while raising funds to support young people in our local community.

As a team, we're embracing this challenge as an opportunity to prioritise wellbeing, connect with our community, and encourage the simple daily habits that can have a positive impact on mental health. Throughout the month we'll be sharing our walks, outdoor adventures, fundraising milestones, and supporting one another to get outside each day.

This year, we're raising funds to:

🌱 Enhance the experience of young people accessing headspace Woolloongabba

🥫 Support and expand practical resources available to young people, including our food pantry

🛋️ Create more welcoming, comfortable and engaging spaces throughout our centre

🎨 Invest in resources, activities and improvements that help young people feel safe, connected and supported when they visit us.

To make things a little more exciting, we'll also be running fundraising incentives and raffle draws throughout the campaign. We're currently partnering with local businesses and community supporters to source prizes that will be awarded to some of our top fundraisers and lucky donors. Every donation helps us get closer to our fundraising goal while giving supporters the chance to win some fantastic community-donated prizes.

Whether you choose to donate, share our page, or simply cheer us on throughout September, thank you for helping us create a positive impact for the young people and families who access headspace Woolloongabba every day. 💚
