Stride Outside Terms and Conditions

Challenge details
Stride Outside (strideoutside.com.au) is a fundraising initiative on owned and operated by Stride Mental Health.

  1. It is a virtual lifestyle and fundraising challenge where participants spend 30 minutes outside every day doing an activity of their choice, during the month of September. Participants will be raising funds for Stride Mental Health.
    The challenge commences on 1 September and ends on 30 September.
  2. The Stride Outside website fundraising page will remain open until 5pm on 31st of October 2024.
  3. Do not rely on information provided in relation to the Stride Outside Challenge as an alternative to medical advice from a health professional or doctor. Participants should consult a healthcare professional if they have any health or medical concerns.
  4. Stride Mental Health provides no warranty whatsoever that this challenge will achieve an individual's health goals.

Fundraising
By registering to participate in Stride Outside, you agree to abide by our guidelines when organising any fundraising activities. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge:

  1. You will be solely responsible for all your activities on strideoutside.com.au and as a participant in the challenge.
  2. Responsibility for the safety of any fundraising activity lies with the organiser of the activity. This includes organising appropriate public liability insurance and providing first aid services as relevant.
  3. Across Australia there are different Fundraising regulations. Stride Mental Health is registered for fundraising but it is the individuals responsibility to ensure compliance when undertaking any fundraising activity. You must ensure you’ve met any requirements including organising any permits, licenses, insurance or authorities to fundraise where necessary, particularly for raffles and competitions.
  4. You must not solicit public donations through general door-to-door, street or telephone collections, or in public places.
  5. You must keep your account details required to log-in to strideoutside.com.au safe and confidential.
  6. Content created by Stride Outside – Stride Mental Health owns or licences from third parties all of the trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property that exists in our website. You must not copy or reproduce in any form any of the graphics, logos or other material on our website unless you have our specific permission. For the avoidance of doubt, you have our permission to download material from the Resources page on strideoutside.com.au. For permission to reproduce material please contact Stride Mental Health.
  7. Content posted by you – Any content that posted to our website and social media (eg photos and videos) is your responsibility, and you must make sure that you have the necessary rights to post that content (eg by obtaining permission of copyright owners if necessary). By posting any content, you also give Stride Mental Health a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free worldwide right to use and reproduce that content.
  8. Privacy Policy – Stride is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. You can read our Privacy Policy here. 
Rewards and prizes - Terms and Condition
  1. The promoter of rewards and prizes is Stride Mental Health ABN 58 000 020 146.
  2. Entry is open to all Australian participants who register and receive their first donation for the 2024 Stride Outside fundraising challenge at strideoutside.com.au
  3. Participants must sign up by Saturday 31 August 11:59pm AEST 2024 to be eligible to go into the draw to win.
  4. All Stride Mental Health employees who are directly involved in organising the Stride Outside fundraising challenge and campaign are ineligible to enter.
  5. Prize is 1 of 2 pairs of Apple Airpod Pro 2 (value $348 each).
  6. Prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  7. Prizes are not transferrable.
  8. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  9. Winners will be drawn at random on Friday September 6th at QSO, Coorparoo.
  10. Winners will be announced on the Stride Facebook page on Monday 9th September and notified by phone and email. Prizes will be shipped to the winner’s Australian mailing address.
  11. If a prize is unclaimed, a redraw will take place on Thursday 31 October 2024 at the same location as the original draw. Winners of any redraw will be notified by phone and email.  
  12. The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Disclaimer: If you do not coordinate fundraising activity in an appropriate, and responsible manner in keeping with Stride’s values and reputation, Stride reserves the right to withdraw your authority to fundraise at any time.
