I'm doing Stride Outside for better mental health

I'm taking 30 minutes outside for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to my page. Every dollar goes towards services that support people at all stages of their mental health journey, from early intervention services for children and young people to the ongoing support of adults with more complex needs.

With your help, Stride can do more to meet the mental health needs of people across metropolitan and regional communities.

My Updates

Striding into errands

Saturday 12th Sep
We all assume Stride Outside is put walking for fitness. Walking Outside is often not just fitness or me time. It is often running errands and doing jobs. This morning I parked my car in a central spot. Went to all the spaces abd places I needed to go to get my jobs done. Walking continuously back forth to and from my car. Maybe its not efficient always, but it is a good option for getting up your steps. Sometimes we need to do other things, but they can always be a conjurer for fitness.

Words matter

Wednesday 9th Sep
A huge part of Stride Outside,  is committing to 30 minutes outside,  the other huge part of that occasion is doing the work. This week's update is: My Stride Outside uniform. - Cap: "Don't give up on you." - Shirt: "Stride Outside — take 30 minutes for better mental health." - Shoes: "Be real." Speaking over my life and goals has transformed how I show up—words set intention, intention fuels action, and action builds momentum. By naming what I want aloud, I align my daily steps with my dreams. Here’s to speaking success into existence. Speaking these words and wearing allows me to show up with a spirit of excellence.  Today, I was not as active as other days, but I still did something. But that is because  speaking well over myself sets intention, builds momentum, and keeps me aligned with what matters. Here’s to speaking success into existence. It helps to still do the bare minimum even on hard days. It's ok to off days, but when we show up for ourselves,  we still can achieve lots.

Walking the dog

Sunday 6th Sep
Leash on, nose in the breeze, and paws making a trail of joy. A quick dog walk to reset the day — Stride Outside, one paw print at a time. Share your pup’s favorite route with
 Stride Outside.

I am currently walking my parents 4 dogs. 2 at a time as they are a bit much.
If you dont own a fury friend maybe you can help someone ekse reclaim their time, and inspire you to walk more.

The art of nourishment- Stride Outside

Tuesday 1st Sep
Day 1 — The Art of Nourishment Starts with Small Steps: 30 Minutes Outside for 30 Days in fact 🤗.

Today kicks off Day 1 of my Stride Outside journey: 30 minutes outdoors each day for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

In that ,I want to encourage people that ~ The art of nourishment starts with small steps, and today I take another some—stepping outside to nourish body and mind and support mental health in our community.

So far I’ve raised $246.00. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. Every dollar supports services across the mental health journey—from early intervention for children and young people to ongoing support for adults with more complex needs.

With your help, Stride can expand its reach to meet mental health needs across metropolitan and regional communities.

Stride Outside has returned, inspiring hundreds of Australians to spend 30 minutes each day in nature to connect, boost wellbeing, and support mental health in their communities.

Mental health and physical health are two sides of the same coin—nurture one, and you nurture the other.
